Synchronized Skating - Competitive LevelsThe USFSA requires Synchronized Skating Teams to consist of individual skaters who have passed the minimum required MITF test.
Teams become more competitive as individual skaters pass more MITF, dance, and free skating tests that provide the skills to consistently perform at consistently high performance and presentation levels through out a synchronized skating program.
*Teams competing in international competitions must follow the ISU rules. ISU rules require teams to be comprised of 16 skaters, with not more than 4 alternatives.

The Figure, Dance, Synchro, General and Free Skating Workshops are designed to be taken concurrently.
