     These communications represent examples of articles that have specific interests to skaters, parents, coaches, club judges, and other USFS and club officials.

     The members of a figure skating club represents a diverse group of people, ages, expertise, and interests in one or more areas of figure skating.  The following links provide examples of how photojournalism can be used as an effective communication tool, especially in featuring club skaters and activities sponsored by the
club's junior organization, Recognition can be used as an important motivator of parent volunteers and skaters.

     Regular communication with club members should be a high priority of leaders of a skating club. People have busy schedules and they need to have a schedule of club, regional, national, and international activities, events, and competitions.  Vital information affecting skaters should not be delegated to an informal and unorganized word of mouth communications by parents and coaches.
