Code for Ice Hockey Spectators
Spectators are expected to act and perform in a supportive manner when at the rink and all activities hosted its affiliated hosting organizations by adhering to the following code of conduct: All visiting and home ice hockey spectators must: ➢ Treat the
facilties, it’s employees and all other visitors with care and
respect. The use of
abusive, threatening, dangerous, criminal or violent behavior and foul or abusive language is not permitted anywhere in the building or grounds. All hockey spectators must: ➢ Lead by
example, conduct yourself in a constructive manner and be on your best
behavior.
Do not harass any coaches or officials - score keepers, referees. ➢ Show good sportsmanship and support for ALL participants - not just positive sport unto your own team's participants. Never make loud negative, personal, offensive comments that of any players. Show respect to all competitors. ➢ Contribute to the enjoyment of the sessions/event and all involved. ➢ Display high standards of personal behavior and appearance and respect the rink facilties and equipment. ➢ Condemn the use of all forms violence, cheap shots by players, inappropriate behavior or language at every opportunity. ➢ Never appear at the rink or any activities hosted at the rink under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Non-compliance
will result in formal action being taken against the offender.
Continued non-compliance will result in being permanently barred from
the facility.
