Figure skating tends to have a renewed interest in learning how to ice skate after every Winter Olympic Games.  Ice rinks and skating clubs benefit from new individuals who enroll in "Learn to Skate" beginning group classes.

      It is important to acquire a good solid basic foundation of fundamental skating skills before attempting to acquire more advanced skills. Bad habits acquire at the beginning will be much more difficult to correct later.

      The Learn to Skate group classes are an excellent way to acquire quality instruction at an affordable cost. Most programs include the cost to practice sessions and skate rentals.
